Pipkin

Handled cooking pot which was used much like a sauce pan is today. Pipkins were produced from colonial times to as late as 1890 and made of earthenware, yellowware and stoneware. Sizes in use vary widely. Our stoneware Pipkins hold 16 to 18 ounces.
